Who sets the initial clinician pay rate?

The healthcare facility sets the initial clinician hourly pay rate when posting the shift.

Can a clinician request a higher rate?

Yes. When negotiation is enabled, the clinician may request a higher hourly rate instead of accepting the posted rate.

Clinicians upload required credentials and documents. The RosterDirect credentialing team reviews the required credentials, and background-check status must be Cleared. Clinicians may browse opportunities while under review, but may not apply, negotiate, accept an assignment, or express Direct Hire interest until Fully Approved. Facilities may review an approved clinician's relevant professional profile, subject to privacy controls; government IDs, background-check reports, and internal notes are not shared.

How does timekeeping and payment work today?

Secure timekeeping, facility time approval, invoicing, earnings tracking, and clinician payouts will be introduced through the upcoming timekeeping and payment workflow. Until then, RosterDirect focuses on posting, negotiation, approval, and clear pricing before assignment confirmation.
